Aftermath releases new music video in tribute to John Lennon: Give Peace a Chance

Aftermath is a Chicago band that formed in October of 1985 by Kyriakos Tsiolis and Steve Sacco and released their first demo in 1986 featuring their original bass player Adam and drummer Ray Schmidt. In 1987 the band released their second demo which made them into a speed / thrash metal band. Aftermath has continued to receive acclaim as a major influence in their genre.

In 2017, Aftermath started writing material for their 11 song album titled “There is Something Wrong.” The album was recorded by Chuck Macak and mastered by Ted Jensen. The band is currently writing new music.

In this day and age the word is desperatly looking for peace and hope and in doing so the band recorded a cover of John Lennon’s “Give Peace a Chance” and released a music video to promote it. John Lennon loved it so much that he plugged it on his Twitter.
