Under The Tongue is an alternative tribal rock duo band based out of Berlin and consists of Mark Eden and Julia Eden. The band writes high energy music, where audience participation is just as important to them as the music.
Vocals, guitars and drums are performed by Mark and backing vocals, bass and piano are performed by Julia. The duo uses electronic loopers to enhance and layer their music to sound much bigger than just the two of them alone.
Mark Eden is an award winning songwriter who has written over 700 songs and has released several solo albums before forming the band Under The Tongue with Julia in 2008. The duo’s latest album titled “Potions” was produced by Bob Ludwig who has worked with arena bands, such as; Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix and more. Their influences are The Beatles, Puscifer, Oasis, Depeche Mode and many more.
Under The Tongue has released a new music video titled “Waterfall” which will be the opening track off of their upcoming album “Art Of Perception” which can be watched on YouTube. Mark woke up one night with a vision for this song and brought the song from a dream into reality. The “Waterfall” music video was produced and directed by Mark with camera work by Marc Willenberg and Video editing by Julia.
